Reed & Reed was selected as the EPC contractor for this 15 mw wind power project in the mountains of western Massachusetts. The work includes 3.5 miles of access and ridgeline roads, 3.5 miles of overhead collector system, substation, storing and transporting the WTG components from the laydown yard to the ridgeline, construction of 10 anchored pad foundations and erection of 10 GE 1.5 mw SLE wind turbine generators. Reed & Reed is responsible for the civil, foundation and electrical designs, Quality Control, Safety Management and all phases of construction. |
