Reed is applying for SHARP status on the Veterans Memorial Bridge project. SHARP is a federal Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program for recognizing achievements by employers in workplace safety and health. It is the highest honor given by OSHA.
When completed the Norridgewock Bridge will be one of two modern concrete tied arch bridges in the United States. (The Depot Street Bridge in the State of Oregon is the other.)
