Activities include, but are not limited to: laboring, carpentry, form carpentry, drilling, working with iron (steel), welding, cutting steel, placement and fastening, form placement, tying off, rebar, guardrail/fencing, curbing, traffic control, grading, concrete work, piledriving, crane operations, barge hand, site safety provisions and rail building, equipment maintenance, removing/clearing of materials, site clean-up and general housekeeping. |

As the full time, on-site representative the Superintendents responsibilities will also include: Contract Administration, personnel, materials, equipment as needed, supervision of subcontractors, all safety aspects on the project and other duties as assigned. Interested candidates must have 5+ years experience as a Superintendent for heavy construction projects. Must be willing to travel. SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Blue print reading skills
- Field construction experience
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- First Aid / CPR Certifications
- Physical ability to work on jobsite, in all weather
- Ability to acquire new skills through training
- Desire to represent the company and self in a professional manner at all times

Weld metal parts together, according to layouts, blueprints or work order, using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes. Performs related tasks such as flame cutting, mechanical cutting and grinding. Safely layout, fabricate, cut, fit, position, clamp together components, weld all types of materials, make structural repairs and equipment repairs. May be required to pass standard tests to meet certification standards of governmental agencies or professional and technical agencies.Must be AWS Certified with Minimum D1.1 Unlimited Certification. |

Basic knowledge of carpentry, concrete, concrete forms, welding, pile driving, cofferdams, equipment and project safety. Must be able to perform a variety of tasks. Extensive experience with pile driving and cofferdam work. Has rigging experience, understands crane setup, travel, rigging cable, positioning, understands torch set up and operation. Is capable of leading small crews (1 – 3 people), capable of being a jack of all trades, all of none. Is dependable. Tools required: tape, adjustable wrench, spud, level, hammer, and knife. Doesn’t miss unexcused time, is able to read and follow manufactures information and directions regarding equipment and tool use. Ensures safe work site is maintained, directs subordinates |

Builds and erects, if necessary, rough wooden structures such as concrete forms, to include steel forms, scaffold, railings, walkways, supports and temporary frame shelters according to sketches or oral instructions in a safe manner. Examines specifications to determine dimensions of structures. Measure materials using square, measuring tape and ruler and marks cutting lines on materials using pencil and scriber, saws boards, dimension wood and plywood panels to required sizes. Nails appropriate bracing across panels to construct concrete forms. Braces forms in place with timbers, tie rods and anchor bolts, for use in building concrete piers, footings and walls. Erect chutes for placing concrete. Cuts and assembles timbers to build trestles and cofferdams. Erects precast concrete components. Must have tools of the trade. |
